Hi and welcome to Padistan Publishing
Padistan Publishing has been created jointly by John Warner Author/ Creator Padistan Bear and Angela Winstanley- Author/Illustrator and the creator of the now famous Noggin the Gnome.
The idea is not just to promote the work of John & Angela, but also to help and encourage all those budding Authors out there. Age is not a barrier we believe in Magical Adventure, letting the Imagination run wild and having fun.
We have all been through the frustrating times when our work, which we have created with love and enthusiasm, has never seen the light of day. Padistan Publishing will assist in any way we can to at least let people understand and appreciate your work.
There will be regular information Blogs informing everyone of what our colleagues and we are up to, and we would love to hear from you as well.

Padistan Bear

The Tale of Padistan Bear is a heartwarming tale of a young bear growing up with his family and discovering the world around him. When Padistan's father Jacub realises that things are tough and he can't support his family on his own, he has a chat with Professor Cornelius Bearliston and they decide that it is time for Padistan to go out into the world and help support his family.
The Adventures of Noggin Clontith
Written and Illustrated by Angela Winstanley
A story which appeals to all ages and is written in rhyme, so that it is a pleasant ‘read out loud book’ for children.
Noggin Clontith is an enchanting Gnome who does good deeds for others, as he goes about his travels. With his good but silent friend the mouse, Noggin meets some interesting characters and situations along the way. Noggin Clontith (The Book) was the first publication referring to the character who has since become a major meme – (You’ve been Gnomed)
CyberGran
Written and illustrated by Angela Winstanley
Many children grow up a distance away from other family members and develop relationships through Cyberspace.
CyberGran follows the ‘through the airwaves’ communications between a little boy, and his Grandmother who lives many miles away.
Angela Winstanley is herself a Cyber Grandparent, being some 2000 miles away from her family but she has turned this into an opportunity to celebrate her ‘different’ and fun relationship with her Grandchildren
Olivia and the Dinosaur

A fantasy story about a little girl and her dinosaur friend. Many children go through a period of being particularly keen on Dinosaurs. Angela wrote and illustrated this book for her Granddaughter who was ‘Dinosaur mad’ at the time. Olivia finds a Dinosaur egg and then ………..????
