Hi everyone Padistan here, did you know that I have a cousin, well I have many really, but there is one who can be very scary, and that’s my cousin, The Sun Bear. He lives in the Tropical Forests of Southeast Asia.  Even though he has lovely markings on his chest, he can be aggressive, and you really need to be careful if you see him. He is the smallest species of our Bear Family and is just 4.5 feet and weighs around 100 pounds. Although he is called a Sun Bear, he actually prefers to roam the forests at night. Like me he loves; Fruit- Berries and Honey. He has short, sleek black fur with an orange-yellow horseshoe shape of color on his chest. My Father Jacub told me all about my cousins when I was a young cub, and he said that in folktales, it is said that this shape represents the rising sun, hence his name, The Sun Bear. So if you meet him to be careful, he is not as cuddly as he looks.

Hi everyone, Padistan here, hope I get this right, out of hibernation and I am just learning how to blog. I really want to connect with everyone, and the` Team Padistan` has told me this is the way to do it, so I hope I get it right.

My New Book came out some time ago; The Tales of Padistan Bear` Special Edition`, it’s doing very well, but I do so want everyone to enjoy it, packed with lovely pictures, you will love it. We have a website as well, as you can see, and the team has organized lots of goodies for you to collect, which are being launched from this week.

It’s an exciting time for me as I only knew about the forest where I lived before and did not realize the world was so big, there is so much to learn, and would love you all to share this magical time with me.

My tales are in a magical time, a time of exciting adventures with amazing people and some shady characters, but it’s all great fun for everyone to enjoy.

You will hear about the time I left home in Bearvolia and began my journey. There are so many stories to tell and so many friends and characters for you to meet as we go along.

This first book tells you how it all started, from the beginning.

Hi everyone, I am well and truly out of hibernation now having spent a great Easter weekend with John & Ntina’s family and friends. Yes, it was Easter here in Cyprus last weekend and a Bank Holiday on Wednesday as well, so lots of lovely food and yummy honey yogurt for pudding every day.
